Overview
The Department of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics was founded with the goal of offering graduate study in orthodontics. Since its inception it has been engaged in research, teaching and patient care. A team approach to dentistry and orthodontics is emphasized on, providing state of the art treatment for patients and education for our students.
We strive to develop proficiency in diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment of a wide variety of malocclusions using multiple appliance techniques and treatment philosophies. A broad age range of patients with emphasis on the adolescents are treated in the department. Having set up its own high standards, the department has always been in the forefront for quality patient care, teaching, training and research. Our motto is to develop a friendly environment that fosters personal and professional satisfaction and growth.

Orthopedic Appliances like Head Gear, Face Mask, and Chin Cup.
Fixed Appliance – PEA (Straight wire) using a wide range of brackets like metal, ceramic, clear braces.
Fixed Appliance – PEA (Self Ligating Brackets).

Lingual orthodontics.
Clear aligners for invisible orthodontic correction.
Maxillary Expansion Appliance.
The diagnosis and management of patients suffering from temporo-mandibular joint disorders and Obstructive sleep apnea.

Diagnosis and management of patients with skeletal and facial deformity.
