The Department of Prosthodontics is committed to educating and mentoring students by providing innovative and continuously evolving curriculum content. This in turn, develops students clinical decision-making and technical skills for treatment of highly complex Prosthodontic needs. Our objective is to train expert clinicians with a sense of ethical responsibility and professionalism. The program strives to achieve these goals through the implementation of new advanced clinical practices and technologies in the field.
This department specializes in restoring and replacing teeth using prosthetics, such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and dental implants. The goal is to improve function, comfort, appearance, and health of patients with missing or deficient teeth.
Our areas of expertise:
  • Removable Prosthodontics - Complete Dentures, Partial Dentures, Cast Partial Dentures (metal base dentures)
  • Fixed Prosthodontics - Metal Ceramics and Metal Free Ceramics to replace missing teeth
  • Implant Prosthodontics - Dental implants are the latest option for replacing missing teeth - they provide a reliable, predictable and long lasting treatment option. From single tooth to full arch implant prosthesis options are available.
  • Smile designing - Dental Veneers and Other Bonded Restorations are used to create bright, white smiles with beautifully shaped teeth.
  • Esthetic Reconstructive Dentistry - is the most advanced approach to providing fully or partially edentulous patients with the highest level of implantology treatment.
  • Full Mouth Rehabilitation - rehabilitating patients with debilitated teeth / worn out teeth. This restores the form and function of the lost tooth structures.
  • Temporomandibular Disorders and Occlusion (Bite Disorders) - Providing treatments for jaw problems caused by temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) and deranged occlusion (bite) of the patient.
  • Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Anaplastics - Rehabilitation of patients with gross facial defects such as cleft palate, post cancer patients, maxillectomy / mandibulectomy patients. Anaplastics deals with replacemernt of missing ears, nose, eyes, fingers etc using natural looking silicone prosthesis.
  • Partial and full veneer ceramic crowns (porcelain fused to metal and metal free ceramic)
