This department focuses on the surgical treatment of a wide range of conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and neck. It includes procedures such as the extraction of impacted teeth, corrective jaw surgery, treatment of facial trauma, and surgical management of oral cancers.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is the specialty of dentistry which includes the diagnosis, surgical and adjunctive treatment of diseases, injuries and defects involving both the functional and aesthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region.
Our areas of expertise:
  • Minor oral surgery: difficult extractions, Impactions, operculectomy, conventional implants, patient specific implants, orthdontic tooth exposure, harvesting autogenous bone graft from mandible, PRF and PRP treatment, facial rejuvenation procedures (botox and fillers), vampire facial procedures, periapical cyst management including apicectomy, intraarticular injections and arthrocentesis,.
  • Casualty: Primary and secondary assessment of maxillofacial trauma, multidisciplinary approach for trauma management, primary management of soft tissue lacerations, dentoalveolar fracture, bridle wiring and hemorrhage control
